Often times we see patients after an injury or surgery however scientific studies are showing more that preventative physical therapy can be very effective for injury prevention. Darci Received Her Masters In Physical Therapy From Boston University In 1998. As A Triathlete, She Was Drawn To The Academic Nature Of Orthopedic Diagnosis And Treatment. In 2003 She Became Full Body Certified In Active Release Techniques And Continued To Focus On Manual Therapy And Therapeutic Exercise. Darci’s Study Of Movement Led Her To The Study Of Yoga And Its Therapeutic Value. She Completed A 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training With Kim Valeri From YogaSpirit Studios And Continued Her Study With Barabara Benagh By Completing Her Intensive Art Of Teaching Training. While Continuing To Focus On Outpatient Orthopedics, Darci Also Served As Adjunct Faculty At The Community College Of Vermont Teaching Anatomy And Physiology I And II And At Castleton State College In The Exercise Science Department.
